Case Study
Full campaign refresh across 50+ SKUs.
One creative director. 3 days.
How I gave one of Germany's fastest-growing DTC food brands a complete product content library — with the visual standard of a traditional studio shoot and the speed that only AI creative direction can deliver.
About KoRo Drogerie
KoRo Drogerie is a Berlin-based direct-to-consumer brand that sells health foods, snacks, superfoods, and pantry staples in bulk packaging at wholesale-level pricing. Founded in 2014, they have grown into one of Europe's most recognized DTC food companies, with hundreds of SKUs spanning nut butters, dried fruits, protein bars, oils, and specialty ingredients.
Their model is built on volume and velocity: new products launch constantly, seasonal campaigns rotate every few weeks, and the e-commerce catalog needs to stay visually fresh across their own webshop, Amazon, social channels, and paid media.
Hundreds of SKUs. Constant launches. One content bottleneck.
Traditional product photography had served them well in the early days. But as the catalog expanded past hundreds of SKUs, the math broke down. Every photoshoot meant booking a studio, hiring a photographer, coordinating product samples, managing post-production, and waiting weeks for final assets.
They needed three things simultaneously:
Volume
Fresh content for hundreds of products, not ten
Speed
Days, not weeks, from brief to deliverables
Consistency
Every asset had to feel like KoRo, across every touchpoint
AI creative direction, not just AI tools.
I approach AI content the same way a creative director approaches a traditional shoot. The technology is the medium. The creative decisions — framing, lighting logic, color temperature, brand coherence — still require a human eye.
Brand Immersion and Art Direction
I absorbed KoRo's existing visual language — packaging design, website photography, social presence. I mapped their brand colors, studied how they style products in context, and identified the visual cues that make a KoRo image feel like KoRo. Without this step, you get technically clean images that feel generic.
Product Hero Shots
Hero-level product imagery for each SKU in the campaign. Each shot was art-directed for lighting consistency, shadow behavior, and color accuracy against the actual product packaging. KoRo's distinctive kraft paper bags and bold typography needed environments that complemented, not competed.
Lifestyle Context Generation
Full lifestyle scenes — products on wooden cutting boards next to smoothie bowls, poured into jars on kitchen shelves, scattered across marble countertops with fresh ingredients. Every scene built with the same intention as a styled traditional food shoot.
Format Multiplication
Each product delivered in multiple formats: clean backgrounds for e-commerce, styled lifestyle shots for social, high-impact compositions for paid ads, and seasonal variations. Ready to deploy across channels without additional post-production.
Quality Review and Creative Refinement
Every asset went through creative review — brand color accuracy, lighting consistency, visual artifact checks. The same quality gate as a traditional shoot, at a faster cycle time. Final delivery organized by product, format, and channel.

“We needed someone who understood our brand, not just someone who could generate images. Coldridge Studios delivered content that looked like it came from a full production team — and it was ready in days.”
KoRo Drogerie Marketing Team
This is what AI creative direction looks like.
The KoRo project is one example of how I work at Coldridge Studios. I am not an AI tool or a prompt marketplace — I am a creative director with six years of traditional production experience.
Every project starts with the same discipline: understand the brand, define the creative direction, produce at quality, deliver at speed.
